Our vision was simple, “Given an unlimited budget, what is the most comprehensive IT platform that we can build?” The result was a £1 million investment in the Commensus Virtual Infrastructure Platform (C-VIP). This solution today resides across five Tier 3+ specification European data centres in London, Paris and Frankfurt. You can choose where your data centre resides, be it London only or replicated out of the UK into Paris or Frankfurt. Single Site Hosting
By leveraging the security and power of our data centres, we deploy a VMware clustered environment where replication occurs at the hardware level. This means that resiliency is built into our design. This ensures that your Virtual Machines, Servers or SANs are always fully redundant so that if one element were to fail, then it would be automatically brought up on another Virtual Machine, Server or SAN within the data centre. This solution is the most secure and resilient money can buy and guarantees uptime.
High Availability Hosting
If you're concerned about resiliency at the data centre level, then our high availability option will put your mind at ease. In this option, we replicate your virtual environment from one facility to another in an 'active to active' configuration. This means that in the unlikely event of a full data centre outage, your Cloud would be automatically provisioned in the secondary facility within a matter of moments. We also offer replication in 'active to passive' configurations if this is required. High Availability Hosting with Commensus, gives you complete peace of mind to choose the right level of resiliency you require. We encourage customers to mix and match between high availability and single site hosting. In some instances you may also want to keep a critical application server on-site. In this case you can leverage our Hybrid Hosting solution to gain full control of your on-premise and cloud environments.
Third Generation Cloud
Over four years of successful Cloud Hosting, we've learnt to listen to our customers. As a result, we've launched our third generation Cloud with Hybrid Management built-in. Utilising VMware's vCloud Director, we provide a management console that gives you full control over your systems. You can now experience freedom and agility in the Cloud and manage your onsite and virtual environments from the comfort of your notebook, PC or laptop from anywhere with an Internet connection.
